The collection of insulators currently on exhibit in the Community Case at the museum was recently featured in Drip Points, a national, quarterly magazine. The insulators belong to Evan McTyre, Del Troy’s grandson, and his wife Natasha.

This photo of Byron Early (THS class of ’55) at the keyboard, was taken in 1954 at the newspaper office on the north side of F Street where the office was relocated after the earthquake of 1952.

Donna Dieterle, THL Volunteer, helps coordinate the setting of the tables, featuring Basque colors for the linens and bunches of Sunflowers, a traditional Basque symbol.

With his expert experience and talent made it possible to have the City of Tehachapi enlarge the museum and planned and worked to completely redo the museum. Charles continues to work very hard getting grants, establishing photo archives, planning fund raisers, doing the newsletter and many other tasks.
